The only place the site asks for personal data is the contact form: your name, your email address, the subject you choose and the text of your message.

We use that data for one purpose, which is to read your message and answer it. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box, together with our legitimate interest in maintaining the accuracy of what we publish.

Correspondence is kept while the matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards so that a correction can be traced back to its source, then deleted. You may ask us to delete it sooner.

Our host keeps ordinary server logs, which may include an abbreviated address, the page requested, the time and the browser string. These are used for security and for keeping the site running, and they are held for a short retention period set by the host.

There is no analytics on this site, no tracking of any kind, no advertising pixels, no third-party cookies and no cookies of our own. The site stores nothing in your browser. It carries a single script, and that script opens and closes the menu. Fonts are requested from a third-party font service, which will see the request your browser makes for them.

Our processors are the hosting provider that serves these pages and the email provider that carries our correspondence. Both act on our instructions under a written agreement.

Where a processor operates outside your own region, transfers are made under the standard contractual clauses or an equivalent recognised safeguard.

You may ask for access to your data, for its correction or deletion, for restriction of its use, for a portable copy, and you may object to processing or withdraw your consent at any time. Write to [Email] and we will answer.

You may also complain to the data protection authority for the place where you live or work.
